founding operator

As a founding operator at Buildbox Labs, you’ll help build the company around our work in scientific AI. You’ll work closely with the founders to turn open-ended priorities into projects that move forward, whether that means finding the right scientific collaborators, supporting an early partnership, or setting up a process the team needs. You’ll develop a working understanding of our research so you can connect people, decisions, and day-to-day execution.

Your days might include researching prospective collaborators, coordinating conversations with scientists, managing recruiting, and keeping projects and follow-ups on track. You’ll help with onboarding, agreements, budgets, and the practical details of delivering work with external partners. You’ll spot gaps, take ownership of them, and build simple systems that give the research team more time to focus on the science.
